Design principle and characteristics
VSS series self-priming pump is a closed impeller with sufficient shaft diameter to ensure smooth operation.
1. How it works
VSS vertical self-priming pump adopts external mixing self-priming principle.
There is a certain amount of liquid in the reservoir. After the pump is started, the mixture of air and medium in the suction pipe is discharged into the steam water separation chamber under the rotating action of the impeller, the air in the upper part of the steam water separation chamber is discharged, the medium in the lower part is returned to the impeller, and the mixture in the suction pipe is mixed again to participate in the steam liquid separation process, so as to discharge all the gas in the suction pipe and the pump directly and complete the self-priming.
2. Sealing principle
The inlet pressure of the pump is negative pressure, the head generated by the back blade and the head generated by the impeller offset each other, and the liquid pressure at the shaft seal is equal to or slightly higher than the atmospheric pressure. Because the pressure inside and outside the shaft seal is basically the same, and the labyrinth structure is adopted at the outer edge and side of the impeller rear cover plate, and it is a vertical pump. The use of oil seal can effectively prevent the liquid from overflowing and achieve the sealing function.
3. Shaft seal under special working condition
The framework oil seal is usually used to prevent liquid overflow. The framework oil seal has simple structure, low maintenance cost, and the applicable range of oil seal temperature is less than 65 ℃. However, when the medium temperature is high or the user has special requirements, mechanical seal can also be used.
